R.O. (Reuben Oscar) Everett papers, 1913-1971.

Collection includes Everett's extensive diary, 1915-1971, chronicling his professional career, his interests, and events in state and local politics. The diary helps document social, civic and historical aspects of life in Durham, N.C. The collection also contains a small amount of correspondence, clippings, lecture notes, printed material, pictures, and miscellany. In addition, there is a CD-RW holding 55 electronic files (2004-2005) that include transcripts for all the diaries in the collection. The electronic documents have been transferred to the Special Collections file server.
